ファイルの命名規則を考えてみる。

URLに大文字が入るのがなんか気持ち悪い。

javaでコーディングしている時は全てクラスとしてみなすので、単語の先頭を大文字にするだけなのですが、スクリプティング言語となると、ファイル名がそのままURLになっちゃったりするのと、僕がURLに大文字が含まれるのが嫌なんですよね。（Apacheの設定なんかで変えることもできるのかもしれないですが、僕は知らないので）


それで、今、phpでwebアプリを作っているんですが、ファイルの命名規則が微妙だったので、見直すことにしました。



  • URLとなりうるファイル

  • クラスファイル

  • Smartyのテンプレートファイル

  • 関数だけのファイル（ライブラリ）

  • 関数名

  • 変数名

  • 部分的に読み込まれるファイル（Smartyのテンプレートファイルとは別）

  • 画像ファイル

  • 設定ファイル


ぱっと考えてみたらこれだけ出てきました。


とりあえず今はコレだけ決めていれば大丈夫かな。


それじゃ、一つずつ説明に。


■URLとなりうるファイル



単語の区切り文字はアンダースコアとする。大文字は使わない。



■クラスファイル



先頭にclass.を付け、それ以降の単語の先頭は大文字。
例）class.HogeClass.php



■Smartyのテンプレートファイル



テンプレート用のフォルダを作る。その中テンプレートファイルは全て入れる。
先頭は大文字、次の単語は大文字から始める。
拡張子は「tpl」にする。
例）HogeTemplate.tpl



■関数だけのファイル（ライブラリ）



先頭にfunction.を付け、それ以降の単語の先頭は大文字。
例）function.HogeFunc.php



■関数名



先頭は小文字。次の単語は大文字から始める。
例）hogeFunction()



■変数名



先頭は小文字。次の単語は大文字から始める。
例）hogeVariable



■部分的に読み込まれるファイル（Smartyのテンプレートファイルとは違う）



jsp使用時のメニュー部分のファイルなんかです。
先頭にmodule.を付け、それ以降の単語の先頭は大文字。
phpでもSmartyを使わないのであれば、この命名規則に従う。
例）module.LeftMenu.jsp



■画像ファイル



単語の区切りはアンダースコア。大文字は使わない。
拡張子は必ず小文字。また、3文字。
例）photo_01.jpg



■設定ファイル



単語の区切りはアンダースコア。大文字は使わない。
例）db_connect.cfg



と、コレだけ考えてみましたが、実際は現場なんかによって微妙に違うと思います。それに、価値観の問題なので、どれが正しいとかって言うのはないんでしょうけどね。統一するくらいはしたほうがいいでしょうが。
